Helmets And Face Shields 

Under New York Vehicle and Traffic Law, Section 381(6), all motorcycle riders and their passengers must wear protective helmets. The helmet must meet the requirements specified in Section 571.218 of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
